Rain drum, umbrella innovation has a voice


The time uses an umbrella and must pass the falling rain, listen rain drop sound affects with umbrella cloth and several times feel annoyed. We come to change this feeling to good amusement, come to change rain sound to drum sound better


Rain drum is an innovative umbrella that features drums with various kinds of sound outputs, making the most interesting amusement for user during rainy days. When playing a drum, the hi-hat, crash and tom-tom needs a high frequency of drumstick play to make the range bigger, whereas, the bass and snare requires a lower frequency for a smaller range of sound. To meet these requirements, the shade of the umbrella contains five wax cloth made shades with different elasticity that makes different sounds with the fall of every raindrop.

"DROP" GPS Braille system


This one’s for those of you who have low or no visibility with the eyes. Blind, sometimes people say. This is what’s known as the "DROP GPS" system, and it’s all hand-held. The "Touch & Go" is a navigation system for the visually impaired, which navigates them in the outside world and makes them autonomous even beyond the four walls of their homes. Combining a hand gadget with earpiece, the device can be worn around the hand like a fashionable accessory.
Featuring a tactile display that shows the directions as a relief map, the wearable navigator uses 1:1000 scales and plum in the center depicts the position of the user. Indicating the direction wherein the user has to move with an arrow, the system also provides auditory support via the earphone, which is fitted with an ultrasonic transmitter-receiver. Since the device fastens to the back of the hand, users can carry it around quite conveniently.
