Windows 8 : Is it good enough?

The wait is over. Windows 8 is officially out and as always people have a lot of expectations from it. The Windows 8 looks quite attractive to the eye and also has many features that will lure you to get it. But is it worth upgrading to Windows 8 from Windows 7 or any other OS you have been using?Let's find out.
Windows 8 is the latest operating system from Microsoft. This is the fusion of Windows 7 and Windows RT.This OS may be the most powerful operating system available right now. With all those live tiles and great backward compatibility feature , this may be the operating system of your choice  If you already have Windows 7, then you might as well not upgrade to Windows 8 because it has very less new things to offer and costs a lot for upgrade. If money is not a problem for you, you should obviously go for this Operating system. Although Apple advertises it's OS X Mountain Lion to be the most advanced Operating System, Windows 8 beats it with ease. The key features of Windows 8 are as follows:

  • Support for both x86 PCs and ARM tablets
  • Touch-centric, Tiles-based User Interface (UI)
  • Snap Multi-tasking
  • Much easier Windows 8 Control Panel
  • Web Navigation by Touch
  • Two Touch Keyboards
  • Enhanced Copy Experience
  • Native USB 3.0 Support
  • Better Support for Multiple Monitors
  • Better Graphics Hardware Acceleration
  • Metro UI
  • Microsoft Account Integration
  • Fast Boot Time
  • SkyDrive Integration
  • New Task Manager
  • Improved Malware Protection
These are only some of new features of Windows 8. A lot of them are yet to be revealed. Windows 8 is truly is really great. Its touch screen interface is also truly  awesome. While many people had assumed it to be a flop launch just as Vista had turn out to be, I guess they were wrong. Millions have already upgraded to Windows 8 and counting. Windows 8 is the future of Computer OS. So, go and get your copy.
