Fish robot, spy bot under the water

Unknown Saturday, March 20, 2010

This new concept in fuel cells which be designed and built by the Faculty of Engineering at Osaka City University by get develop fish robot has that can swim in the water is like fish, a robot fish that will be powered by a new fuel cell that’s being called the "Power Tube", can alternatively run on a standard lithium-polymer battery as well.

The hope of researches team that aiming at in development fuel cells at use for fish robot has been swimming in the water continual to about 3 days certainly that, the mechanical part of robot fish will must use electric a little energy

At first, they use motor but, meet that it lose electric, later become using electric current by supply to coils for make magnet in the middle move, which be mechanical important in the moving of the tail, which, it effective better using motor. It uses a 10MW magnetic actuator motor to save energy

Besides, still have mechanical at intelligent very stay within the fish that is "movable sinker" that allows it to dive or rise based on its center of gravity. With this little fishy’s battery it’s sink or swim. This will be quite handy if fitted with a camera, for underwater rescue missions and such.
