Are all Droids(Android) laggy?

Unknown Tuesday, September 11, 2012

To answer straight, the answer is No! Not all the droids are laggy as many people assume. Most of us are acquainted with low end Android devices and don't know the true power of high end devices. It sure is true that Android based Smartphones require more processing power than iOS devices or the Windows Phone running devices but if we look closely they also have much to offer along with requirement of high specification. Thus, to meet such requirements, quad core processors are now available to meet the Android requirements. If you look at devices like HTC One X, Samsung Galaxy SIII or LG Optimus 4X HD, you won’t experience lag anywhere. Android based smartphones are much powerful and much more capable now. Multi-processing also has improved a lot now. Some devices now have 2GB ram dedicated for multi-tasking. Bench mark results are one of those truths that droids are very much powerful. The potential of Android based devices is increasing day by day. Each new day, we see a new device which is more powerful and capable.

If people think droids are full of lags, they should first try high end devices with high specification. Also, low end devices can be optimized via various applications. One easy way to remove lag from your Android device is using launchers which are power efficient.

But if you run a same device having same specification once on Android and then Windows phone OS and then on iOS, you will see that the phone will run poorly on Android OS. So, if you want to go for a low end Android device, I recommend you not to go with Android device. You will be disappointed. For instance, the iPhone 3gs which has only 600MHz processor runs well than any Android device with 1GHz processor.

To conclude, not all droids are laggy while many are. If you don’t want lags, you should go for a high end Android device. Stay tuned and stay updated!
