Ponsel Layar Sentuh Nokia Asha 305

Nokia Indonesia resmi menghadirkan ponsel terbaru di Indonseia yaitu Nokia Asha 305. Ponsel segmen entry-level ini menggunakan antarmuka full-layar sentuh, artinya navigasi Nokia Asha 305 sepenuhnya mengandalkan gerakan jari dari pengguna. Nokia Asha 305 masih dijalankan sistem operasi Series 40 Asha. Yang membuat Asha 305 menarik adalah adanya fitur "easy swap dual-sim". Pengguna bisa mengganti kedua kartu SIM tanpa terlebih dahulu membuka casing belakang/baterai karena kedua slot SIM card terdapat disisi kiri ponsel ini.

Pada Nokia Asha 305 telah dipasangkan Nokia Browser 2.1. Browser ini dibekali teknologi proxy data compression dan cloud acceleration sehingga dipercaya mampu mengikatkan kecepatan 3x lebih tinggi dibanding browser mobile lain. Fitur multimedia lain yang tak kalah penting seperti kamera 2 MP, Bluetooth, Port microUSB. Hanya saja Nokia Asha 305 tidak mendukung jaringan 3G/HSDPA dan tidak tersedia Wi-Fi. Memori internal 10 MB namun tersedia slot memori ekternal microSD hingga 32 GB. Dalam paket penjualan disediakan memori microSD 2 GB.

Asha 305 hadir dengan beberapa pilihan warna yakni Silver White, Red, Mid Blue, dan Dark Grey. Harga Nokia Asha 305 di Indonesia sekitar Rp 850 ribu saja.

Holographic Versatile Disc

DVD's, those were legends. Having storage of 4.7GB, that was huge during the time of CD's. Now, we have Blu-ray disc's which can store up to 50GB data in a single disc. That's pretty large,isn't it? These discs are specially used for recording HD videos and used in gaming consoles such as PS3. Blu-ray Disc have same size and diameter as that of DVD's but have much more significant write speed and can store much more data. They are slowly replacing DVD's.

Have you ever heard of Holographic Versatile Disc? These discs were developed between April 2004 and mid-2008. These discs can store up to several terabytes of data on an optical disc! These discs are 10cm in diameter. This is the best we can get out of a optical disc. Having storage capacity in Terabyte is extremely large. Even hard-disks don't come up in such high storage. However, these discs have yet not come in practical use as Holographic Versatile Disc Drive initially costs 15,000$ which is extremely expensive and a single disc costs 150$ to 180$. Now, no one would like to spend so much money on a optical disc drive, would anyone?But, prices are gradually decreasing So, this technology is not of much use for now but it has a great future ahead. iPhone 3gs : How well does does a 3 year old phone stand out?

Apple's iPhone 3gs made a break through in the smartphone industry with it's amazing features. It was one of the smartphone which once ruled the world and thrilled all the people around. But after all these years, let's find out how it now stands!

iPhone 3gs was released in June, 2009 by Apple Inc. The device which was among the few of 3.5 inch category phones was and still is one of the most admired phone. It was admired then due to it's unbelievable features. It is now admired due to it's low price tag. It may sound untrue for people when I say this particular 3 year old still stands out today to be one of the good smartphone out there in the market. Hardware wise, it may be a little out-dated, but it still is getting software updates. For instance, it will be getting iOS 6 as well. Although is is powered by only 600MHz processor, it is a very capable device which runs well without lags while using applications. If you are a person who looks for budget phone, you won't find anything better than this. The OS in this phone just works fine.With it's 3.2 mega pixel camera which is capable of shooting 480p videos, you are never going to miss your important moments. Also, iPhone 3gs has one of the best 3.2 mega pixel camera ever seen in a smartphone. The only thing that is missing in the iPhone 3gs is the front facing camera. Also, for people who like taking photos, you may miss flash light function.Those are minor things which most of the people don't care about. What's more the 3.5 inch screen is protected by gorilla glass and also the screen supports multi-touch. For people with small hands, this may just be the perfect handset.

This phone costs just around 240$ unlocked and free when taken in 2 year contract plan. The battery life of this handset is quite decent. You can expect it to run full day with a single charge. This device, I can proudly say is a wonderful device which is just worth it. If you are not a extreme "gadget-freak", this phone still has life in it to make you enjoy each and every moment.

PS3 Slim VS XBox Slim

Sony's PS3 Slim and Microsoft's XBox Slim are the best gaming consoles out there in the market. They are no match to any other gaming consoles such as Nintendo Wii. The new "Nintendo Wii U" which the company claims to be the next generation gaming is somewhere near the Xbox 360 Slim and the PS3 Slim. So, in this post you are all going to know why PS3 Slim is better than Xbox 360 Slim. So, Here it goes:

Gaming: In terms of gaming both the gaming consoles are equally good. Both have very huge game library as well with their own list of exclusive games. Xbox may have a few more games in it's library. But, PS3's PSN Store has much more to offer and at times offer free games(that's rare to be honest). The other thing and the most important thing is that PS3's online gaming is free 24*7*365 where as you have to pay 50$ for online gaming experience in your Xbox 360.

Graphics: When it comes to graphics, both the gaming consoles are equally good. Some games look better in the Xbox while others look good in the PS3. In terms of GPU power, both are equally powerful.

Multimedia: When it comes to multimedia, no doubt PS3 wins from all the angle. For instance, Xbox can play back DVD's but the PS3 can play back all 3D Blueray Disks as well which XBox can't. The Sound settings is also better in PS3 which offers better Bluetooth Headset compability.

Networking: Both PS3 Slim and Xbox Slim are equipped with LAN port as well as WiFi b/g/n . Online gaming is equally good but Xbox 360 Slim has the upper hand here because there are more online Xbox games than that of PS3 Slim. On the other hand, 7 wireless Bluetooth joystick can be connected in the PS3 Slim where as Xbox is limited to 4 controllers at once.

Power Consumption: PS3 consumes relatively less power than the Xbox in almost all the processes. However, their power consumption rate is very low compared to that of Original Xbox and Original PS3. While playing discs however PS3 makes a lot of rattling noise where as Xbox makes relatively less noise.

Looks: When it comes to looks, Xbox 360 Slim somehow looks better than the PS3 Slim. Also, Xbox 360 Slim can stand both horizontally as well as vertically where as PS3 Slim is meant to keep only horizontally. Also, Xbox 360 Slim has touch sensitive buttons where as PS3 has physical buttons.

Pricing: Both the gaming consoles are similarly priced. But the deal breaker is the PS3 Slim's Blue Ray Player. As it acts as a dedicated blue ray player, people prefer PS3 Slim over Xbox 360 Slim.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet - coming soon

It is a wake-up call for Samsung to respond to its rivals like ASUS, Toshiba, and Acer for their high-end tablets, which have been released recently. And the company has due to launch yet another new redone Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tab soon, as Samsung first revealed the Galaxy Note 10.1 tab soon. As Samsung first revealed the Galaxy Note 10.1 at Mobile World Congress 2012 back in February.
However, some retailers began taking online pre-orders such as Amazon but as unknown officials are reporting the retailer may have started early. Therefore, the retailer has to take down the pre-order page shortly after putting it up in the first place.

Hardware

It was originally announced with a dual-core processor, but should be arriving with a brand-new quad-core Exynos chip, just like the one on the Samsung Galaxy S III, and it packs a powerful 2GB of RAM, with 1280x800-pixel 10.1-inch WXGA TFT touchscreen display. A 5-megapixel camera with auto focus, LED flash and 720p video recording, Bluetooth 4.0 (replacing the initial Bluetooth 3.0 on board), USB 2.0, 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS out of the box.
This can't match the super high-res 1920 x 1200 -pixel screen on the new Asus Transformer Pad Infinity tab. There is also no LTE connectivity (4G) - you only get HPSA at a speed of up to 21Mbps for downloads. And has a unique with its built-in S Pen and better precision compared to generic capacitive styli according to Negri Electronics’ site.

Price?

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet comes with hefty price of $750 16GB version at Negri Electronics in the United States, and yet to be confirmed when it is available in Europe. Furthermore, also redone with new hardware, and you can pre-order from today 3rd August, which is today.

PS3 3.60 Keys are out. Are we near a new custom(hacked) firmware?

This may be one of the most interesting news for the PS3 hacking team. After many years, we have the PS3 3.60 keys which may lead to jailbreaking of newer firmware PS3 as well. So, the keys are out. Does that mean a new custom firmware will be out for PS3 running above 3.55 firmware? All we can do right now is wait and see if Dev's come out with any thing that interests up. Also the E3 team said it will give away free keys and games which is a dongle less solution. It sure is a very good news for all of us.

Unfortunately, the CECH 300x PS3 owners will still out of luck as they come out of the box with Official Firmware 3.72. Still, there is news that more keys are coming up in a few weeks. Go, people do wait and have patience. After all these years, dream of many people may finally come true. Like always, I again urge you not to upgrade your PS3's firmware to a newer version.
