PS3 Level 0 keys leaked: Will there be cfw for 3K and 4K PS3?

Ps3 LV0 keys were leaked some days earlier by some team called "The Three Musketeers" .Now some wonder what good will come from this. The answer is simple. No matter to what firmware Sony upgrades its PS3 to, PS3s will be easily hackable. The LV0 keys are like the PS3 master key. No matter what Sony does now, PS3's will be hackable. This applies to all PS3's running on firmware 3.55 or lower. PS3 which came out of the box with fw 3.55+ may not enjoy the release of LV0 keys or the release of cfw 4.21. 
However, a question arises: What will happen to the 3K and 4K PS3 models? Will the PS3 which have come out of the box  with firmware 3.55+ be hacked and can enjoy the cfw and all the homebrew goodies? The answer is "No". Although LV0 are out you can't be certain a hack is going to come for the newer models. The devs will have to find exploit in the in the firmware and apply patch in the pup file. It has been years that we haven't seen cfw for PS3's with 3.55+ firmware and there are very less probability of seeing them in the near future. However, seeing the progress made in the scene we can expect the newer PS3's being hacked somewhere in the future. The only thing you can do is wait and have patience. Let the developers do their work and find exploit in the current firmware. However, cfw should be used only to enjoy homebrew not run pirated games.

PS3 Super Slim: Is it worth it?

How Slim can the PS3 Slim really get? The answer is "Super Slim". Yep, that's right. We have got a new "PS3 Super Slim". The processing power of the new PS3 is just the same as the older PS3 but is lighter and more compact. Like PS3 Slim, the super slim model also has 2 USB ports, 1 HDMI port and 1 component cable which most of us don't use at all. It would had been better if we would get Standard HDMI cable out of the box. 

The question of the day is: Is the PS3 Super Slim really worth it? The answer is "Yes" as well as "No". If you already have a PS3 Slim, then there's no point of getting the new PS3 Super Slim as it basically has nothing new and looks uglier than ever before (my personal taste). If you don't possess one, PS3 Super Slim is yours to buy. The new PS3 may not be very fancy but is equally capable as the old PS3. For people who are planning to buy a new PS3, nothing could be a better gaming console. Go and buy this.
One thing I am really confused about is Why is Sony trying to make PS3 slimer and more slimmer? There's no point of making it smaller and Slimer. It's nothing that we carry around or something like that. Infact for me, the bigger the better. Atleast as it is big( I have PS3 Slim), it's noticable in my Living Room!
Conclusion: If you don't have a gaming console, go and get the all new Super Slim PS3. It's totally worth the price. Don't worry about PS4, it's not  coming somewhere near in the future. It won't come  at  least for a few years. Even if it does, PS3 will still be getting support. The console is totally awesome. It also has got a top disc loading feature. That's all for now. Made by EA Sports, Fifa World Cup South Africa is one of the best football game ever. This game supports up-to 7 players offline gaming. The good thing about this game is you can take the country you want to play with. For instance, I being a Nepali can take up Nepal Football team and play game in Dashrat Rangasala. This is awesome, isn't it? You can play the world cup taking the country of your desire and many other game modes are available too. The commentary is quite impressive as well. There are various trophies to keep things exciting.

3) Ratchet & Clank : All 4 One
IGN rated this game 8/10 which is just great. This is among the top 10 games of the year 2011. The best thing about his game is you can play upto 4 players co-op in adventure mode. This game is 3D compatible game which means if you have a 3D TV, you can even play it in 3D. Great isn't it? If you don't have one. No problem, you can play it with ease with the TV you currently have. This is a adventure game which is more fun than you can basically imagine. The graphics of this game is superb. The interface is easy and feels very good. There are number of weapons you can buy to make your adventure more interesting. This sure is a very good game/

4) Little Big Planet 2 : Special Edition
Little Big Planet 2 scored 9/10 in IGN rating which is the best rating we have seen so far. This is the enhanced version of Little Big Planet 2 which has support for PS Move. Also, this game offers 35$ of free content with unlimited levels which you can download online for free. This game also has offline co-op mode, so you can team up with your friend and have a go. This game is mostly going to be liked by kids. This is a very good strategy+adventure game even played by adults. There are several modes in this game where you can car race and more stuffs. If you have playstation move, you can draw and sketch which is a lot of fun. It's a very good game indeed.

PS3 Slim VS XBox Slim

Sony's PS3 Slim and Microsoft's XBox Slim are the best gaming consoles out there in the market. They are no match to any other gaming consoles such as Nintendo Wii. The new "Nintendo Wii U" which the company claims to be the next generation gaming is somewhere near the Xbox 360 Slim and the PS3 Slim. So, in this post you are all going to know why PS3 Slim is better than Xbox 360 Slim. So, Here it goes:
Gaming: In terms of gaming both the gaming consoles are equally good. Both have very huge game library as well with their own list of exclusive games. Xbox may have a few more games in it's library. But, PS3's PSN Store has much more to offer and at times offer free games(that's rare to be honest). The other thing and the most important thing is that PS3's online gaming is free 24*7*365 where as you have to pay 50$ for online gaming experience in your Xbox 360.
 
Graphics: When it comes to graphics, both the gaming consoles are equally good. Some games look better in the Xbox while others look good in the PS3. In terms of GPU power, both are equally powerful.
 
Multimedia: When it comes to multimedia, no doubt PS3 wins from all the angle. For instance, Xbox can play back DVD's but the PS3 can play back all 3D Blueray Disks as well which XBox can't. The Sound settings is also better in PS3 which offers better Bluetooth Headset compability.

Networking: Both PS3 Slim and Xbox Slim are equipped with LAN port as well as WiFi b/g/n . Online gaming is equally good but Xbox 360 Slim has the upper hand here because there are more online Xbox games than that of PS3 Slim. On the other hand, 7 wireless Bluetooth joystick can be connected in the PS3 Slim where as Xbox is limited to 4 controllers at once. 
 
Power Consumption:  PS3 consumes relatively less power than the Xbox in almost all the processes. However, their power consumption rate is very low compared to that of Original Xbox and Original PS3. While playing discs however PS3 makes a lot of rattling noise where as Xbox makes relatively less noise.

Looks: When it comes to looks, Xbox 360 Slim somehow looks better than the PS3 Slim. Also, Xbox 360 Slim can stand both horizontally as well as vertically where as PS3 Slim is meant to keep only horizontally. Also, Xbox 360 Slim has touch sensitive buttons where as PS3 has physical buttons.
Pricing: Both the gaming consoles are similarly priced. But the deal breaker is the PS3 Slim's Blue Ray Player. As it acts as a dedicated blue ray player, people prefer PS3 Slim over Xbox 360 Slim.

PS3 3.60 Keys are out. Are we near a new custom(hacked) firmware?

This may be one of the most interesting news for the PS3 hacking team. After many years, we have the PS3 3.60 keys which may lead to jailbreaking of newer firmware PS3 as well. So, the keys are out. Does that mean a new custom firmware will be out for PS3 running above 3.55 firmware? All we can do right now is wait and see if Dev's come out with any thing that interests up. Also the E3 team said it will give away free keys and games which is a dongle less solution. It sure is a very good news for all of us. 
Unfortunately, the CECH 300x PS3 owners will still out of luck as they come out of the box with Official Firmware 3.72. Still, there is news that more keys are coming up in a few weeks. Go, people do wait and have patience. After all these years, dream of many people may finally come true. Like always, I again urge you not to upgrade your PS3's firmware to a newer version. PS3 Firmware 4.21 is out : Mandatory Update

The history has repeated once again. Last time, just after a week of release of firmware 4.10, the firmware 4.11 was out which was supposed to fix some bugs related to PSN (PlayStation Network). Don't know about you guys, but in a country like mine where there is slow internet connection, downloading 200MB data two times 5 hours is quite frustating. Further, you won't be allowed to go online or sign into PSN until and unless you have updated your PS3 firmware. 

Like always, the update 4.21 is called optical but one still has to go through it to access PSN and online gaming. So, it is to be called mandatory, isn't it? Further, this update brings nothing new along and Sony has just stated "Software Stability in this update" and that's all. For people who don't want to update still will have to to get nothing. If this is what Sony will be doing, don't be surprised to see PS3 Firmware 6.00 in the near future.

For those who are patiently waiting for the Custom/Modified Firmware of PS3, all you can do is wait. There's no firmware higher than 3.56 which can be hacked. 

P.S. : If you want to but cheap PS3 games, go to Ebay.com or                 Amazon.com and buy second hand (mint condition) blue-ray games for around 7$ to 10$

News: PS3 Firmware 4.20-- Is it worth upgrading to ?

Sony's PS3 is one of those gaming consoles which frequently releases update for their PS3 but most of the time it is nothing much dramatic and often patches cracks and hacks. So what do we have in this new PS3 firmware?

If you are one of those having issues with sound and music, it sure is a good news for you.The major change for the firmware is that the "Sidetone" feature has been added and improved for those who use the Wireless Stereo Headset you will now be able to select five levels of microphone audio and also disable Sidetone completely. Virtual sound enhancement has also been added for music lovers.
Leaving audio improvements, now you will be able to set different idle power off time while using media or playing your PS3 game.

If non of these thing interests you, I can warn you all guys not to upgrade your PS3's firmware if you want homebrew and Custom Firmware(CFW) for your PS3 as if may come out any time now. If you update your firmware(FW), you may be stuck in this same firmware like people who upgraded from 3.55 FW did.  If you are a jailbreak guy, have some patience and wait. Enjoy and stay updated.

P.S. : Downgrading is a very hard process and very risky.

SONY PLATSTATION 3 [PS3]

PS3 is one of the best creation of Sony Inc which is not only a game console but also a home entertainment system. PS3 were initially sold in November11, 2006. 62 millions unit have been sold so far since its launch. There are seven models of PS3 so far and the PS3 slim 320GB is the last of the PS3 breed. And then we will all be getting the all new PS4.

PS3 SLIM




PS3 slim was released in September 1, 2009. With the release with the Slim version of the PS3, the demand increased a lot as it is comparability very cheap and economical which included a Blue ray Player  which is completely 3D compatible with firmware update. Also the PS3 slim model comes out in 120GB model, 160GB model and a 320 GB model. In addition to that the PS3 slim has user replaceable hard-disk as well. Any user with basic computing skills can easily replace the hard disk and swap a new hard disk according to their desire.   

PS3 Slim is not only slimmer but is also 33% smaller, 36% lighter 
and consumes 34 % less power than the previous versions      (Phat PS3), thanks to the 45nm cell microprocessor . The PS3 slim may not have the glossy black paino finish nor the touch sensative buttons like in the PS3 Phat but that's not really that usable. Some users have also complained about having only 2 USB ports but if you want more USB 2.0 ports, you can always but a USB Hub from the amazon store which only costs like 3$.

PS3 : First Thoughts


PS3 Slim was released on 1st of January on 2009. It is the
successor of the PS3 fat. It is almost same as PS3 in 
in term of specification, gaming, blue ray video playback 
capability and UI (User Interface) expect for the physical 
appearance and power consumption.

The PS3 Slim is most probably the best gaming console out 
there in the market and it's price is very fair. Looking at its specs, I can say that it is one of the most economical gadget 
made by Sony so far.

PS3 : Looks and Design


The new PS3 Slim doesn't have glossy piano finishing like
the PS3 fat and neither does it have touch sensitive On/Off
or Eject button but who really cares about those unusable 
attributes. Also, the new PS3 Slim doesn't pick finger prints, 
so the user doesn't need to frequently polish his/her PS3. 
The Slim PS3's reduced market price also could be the 
removal of such useless attributes. That sure is a benefit for 
one who is looking forward for buying a PS3.
Looking at the design, in the front PS3 Slim has got 2 USB 
ports along with a hard disk drive indicator. On the top you
have nothing expect a "PS3" over it. Also,you have two 
buttons, i.e On/Off Button and the Eject Button. The On/Off 
button helps you to turn on and turn off you PS3. Also, if you 
press the On/Off button for about 10 seconds, you will 
hear a beep sound. Then, you can restore your PS3 to
default settings, update to newer firmware and others 
settings. You can use this function when you face
problem with your new PS3 Slim. You can now be relieved even if your system crashes because you can restore it easily.

Multimedia

PS3 sure is a great gaming console but if look closely enough,its much more In fact, it is a home entertainment system system. It is widely used for gaming, playing music, videos and pictures. Also, thanks to its dedicated blue-ray player which plays stunning 1080p HD videos. What more could we ask for?Further, don't forget that the PS3 slim is Internet ready out of the box with its own internal WiFi integration. But I have to admit that the PS3's Web Browser is among the worst web browser that I have ever experienced.

Specification

The PS3 Slim uses IBM cell processor which was solely created by Sony inversting millions of dollar and who knows how much more.

The PS3 Slim has 256MB of RAM and hard-dask varying in capacity from 120 GB, 160 GB, 250 GB and 320 GB. Talking about the GPU, PS3 uses RSX GPU which is a Reality Synthesizer GPU. It was made in association with the Nvidia Incorporation. It's also said that the GPU used in the PS3 Slim is the modified and developed version of Nvidia GeForce 7800. I am telling you guys that the new PS3 slim does have some serious gaming power.

Games are extremely stunning a HD Television. Even the PSN (Play Station Network) has developed a lot over the years. Online gaming a great as well. Even the Play-station store has good collection of games now.

According to Sony, to achieve the smaller size, the internal structure (architecture) of the PS3 ha to be completely redesigned from power supply to the cooling mechanism. The PS3 Slim is powered by a new 45nm cell processor which is more power efficient and consumes 34% less power than the PS3 Fat.

The PS3 has got inbuilt Bluetooth 2.0. Also it has internal WiFi which also supports DLNA which enables user to share picture and videos with a DLNA enabled device wirelessly. PS3 Slim also supports Bravia Sync through which your PS3 can be controlled by your TV and vice versa. 

Conclusion

The PS3 slim sure is a top gaming console and a worthy blue-ray player. So, if you enjoy playing games and playing back HD movies, PS3 is the best gadget out there.So,go and grab it. Or, just wait for the PS4 to come out so that you can get the latest features. The only thing about PS3 that is not satisfying is that the PS3 games are overpriced but that's not going to be a problem if you have some 100 bucks with you! I would rate it 9/10 overall for its performance. It sure is a all-in-one entertainment package. So, go and enjoy it to the fullest. I guarantee you that you won't be unsatisfied.
