iPad 3

The latest news about the launch of the iPad 3 says that the tablets date to be announced in March. This time the latest information reported that Apple is preparing to choose a suite of applications for use on the iPad 3 demo creation.

iPad 3

Pre-event week Appple often spent time to gather a demonstration of the many application developers, and prepare for the live application demonstration event. Currently, the selection process is being continued with a higher speed as Apple hopes to complete the list of applications for the iPad 3. There is also an emphasis on graphics-oriented applications with assets of high definition (HD), which seems to match the features of a retina in the latest generation iPad.

In addition, some applications that draw the attention of the tech giant is being submitted to peer advertising such as TWBA Apple, Chiat, or Day, for possible inclusion in a prime commercial spot iPad 3. This process also began to enter the final stage, given the company's apple logo is in a tight deadline to determine the assets to be used during presentations and television commercials.

Although no official announcement is made, it appears that it is rumored to be seen increasingly in accordance with a possible announcement iPad 3 which is due next month.

Office for iPad

Microsoft is reportedly preparing a tablet version of Office for Apple computers are very popular. As is known, the world's software giant has long made the Office for Mac and is very familiar among users of Macintosh fanatics. On the other hand, although the iPad has a much more limited functionality than the PC, but the demand is very high.

Office for iPad

If the iPad is regarded as one model of portable computers, Apple confirmed will be the largest computer manufacturer in the United States. Moreover, the current iPad also has been flowing into the enterprise segment, is much more rapid than previous Apple products. This makes Microsoft can not stay silent.

Microsoft Office itself is a software that has traditionally been marketed at a great price, even though the application is important for many person

mini ipad

Apple is rumored to begin to anticipate the number of tablets that a 7-inchcompetitors. The presence of 7-inch tablet like the Amazon Kindle Fire, Nook, andSamsung Galaxy Tab, Apple began to worry seems to make its dominance in the tablet market will be shifted.

mini ipad

Apple will launch iPad 7.85 inch before the fourth quarter of 2012, but iPad 3 which is scheduled to be released at the end of the first quarter. Rumor is presumably because Apple started to feel the pressure by increasing sales of Kindle Fire

These rumors come just days after showing off the success of Amazon's Kindle salesFire, tablets are much cheaper than the iPad. Amazon claims to have sold a millionKindle within a week for three weeks. Among the Kindle family, Fire is the mostpopular.

In fact, Kindle Fire has been the best selling products in Amazon since it was introduced in September last. Kindle cheapness Fire was seen as a modifier in therhythm of competition in the tablet market.

On November 2010, Apple founder Steve Jobs is ever denied Apple iPad wouldmake the size smaller than 9.6 inch. Apple, Steve Jobs said, not interested in making a tablet with a small screen

Apple users targeted by Identity Thieves

Apple product owners need to be careful. It has been discovered the circulation of an email phishing, which try to steal the identity of the victim, a special Apple user.

As noted Trend Micro, phishing attacks targeting users of Apple by posing as an official email from Apple. Fake emails that told as if there is a change of personal data in the user account.

The difference with the original email, it will send fake e-mail users to a page that displays ads at the bottom. On that page there is a request to enter a username and password, which if followed by the same hand over house keys to the thief.

Some features of fake email from Apple that is:

address of the sender is do_not_reply@itunes.com via SMTP
link in the email body leads to a fake site (which has a banner ad at the bottom)
the fine (fine print) email only mentions TM and Copyright Apple Inc.
Beware emails are always associated with your account. If there is a request to enter a username and password, make sure you are on the original page and not a trap site.

Defeat Fire iPad Kindle Popularity

Fire as the emergence Kindle Amazon's tablet device is relatively new in the tablet market. However, its popularity has now been able to match the iPad.

According to a study conducted Retrevo, the current tablet users prefer to use a Kindle Fire than 7-inch Apple iPad which is the mainstay.

A percentage of sales difference was not far adrift. Looks like the price of USD199 Kindle Fire which is quite cheap to be one cause of its sales success. In fact, Amazon should provide millions of tablets for the pre-order.

Retrevo ask questions to some people that is, whether they know about the Kindle Fire and willing to buy these tablets in this holiday shopping season?

As many as 35 percent said it was still not able to distinguish the Amazon Kindle Fire as a tablet or an e-reader. While 32 percent already know if the Kindle Fire is a tablet and 32 percent said they do not know. It is quoted by Softpedia, Friday (11/11/2011).

Amazon is memnag tablet not sold as a whole and at least in the near future, will enter the global market.

According to Retrevo, 27 percent of people who already have a tablet, eager to have a Kindle Fire if it is sold. While 20 percent still intend to have the iPad.

In terms of size of 12 percent of those who do not have a Kindle tablet is more interested in having a Fire and 10 percent of them still choose the iPad. Kindle Fire may seem superior, such as image quality, battery life and overall kenerja that offer more features favorites.

Presumably Apple will make a surprise to further strengthen their dominance in tablet sales next year by presenting the iPad 3.

Apple patent suggests new iPod features

Passing earwax-tainted earbuds between friends is nobody's favorite way to share iPod tunes. An integrated speaker in the smaller iPod nano and iPod shuffle models could end that practice for good, and provide opportunity for a host of new iPod possibilities.

A newly published Apple patent describes how Apple could add a teeny speaker dome to the clip on the iPod shuffle or iPod nano. It's a sneaky way to add some extra functionality to Apple's smallest media players -- all without adding any extra bulk.

According to the patent, which was broken down by Patently Apple, the addition of a speaker would be a "natural evolutionary step for their media players."

The addition of a speaker -- along with Apple's embrace of the iPod nano as a wrist-worn device and the integration of Nike+ exercise software -- would also position Apple well for targeting the same fitness market that's home to the Motorola Motoactv, NPD analyst Ross Rubin says.

Over the past two years, several signs have pointed to one or more iPod lines being discontinued. Indicators include lackluster sales (last quarter, Apple sold 6.6 million iPods, a 27 percent decline from the same period in 2010), and a dearth of product refreshes for the shuffle and classic models. Nonetheless, Apple continues to support its beloved line of media players. And now it seems new energy may be breathed into the line.

CEO Tim Cook said iPod is a "large and important product" for the company at Apple's 2011 iPhone event. And Apple recently dropped the prices of its nano and touch iPod models, making them more competitive and more accessible to a wider market. Current iterations of the nano and shuffle have no external speaker, but the larger iPod touch does have one.

The iPod nano-like Motoactv, a wearable fitness-tracking music player.

Rubin sees the addition of a speaker to, say, an iPod nano as a gateway to a slew of new use-case scenarios.

"One thing it might point to is the nano being used to interface with an iOS device," Rubin says, much the way the Motoactv can sync with an Android device, and be used to relay the arrival of calls or text messages on its small screen.

Rubin says future nanos could be worn on your wrist, displaying social media updates relayed from an iPad stowed away in your backpack or messenger bag. A nano with a small speaker could also feature an audible alarm, making timed work-out tracking all the more convenient -- useful when you want to use Nike+ without earbuds.

Rubin also points out that you could activate Siri requests using the small screen on your wrist and have answers relayed to you through the speaker.
If the speaker only ended up being used as a music playback mechanism, Rubin says, "It wouldn't make a radical difference" in how we use or perceive iPods. True, but not needing to share earbuds anymore? Still a plus.

Cashmore: Kindle Fire will be hottest tablet since the iPad

Editor's note: Pete Cashmore is founder and CEO of Mashable, a popular blog about tech news and digital culture. He writes regular columns about social media and tech for CNN.com

The iPad is one of the most disruptive technologies of the past 5 years. Along with the iPhone, it birthed a new era of touch computing that does away with the mouse and keyboard altogether. And yet the iPad's undisputed dominance of the blossoming tablet market may not last forever. In fact, the iPad is about to get some stiff competition -- finally.

To understand why the iPad dominates the tablet sector is not difficult: Not only was it the first of the new wave of touchscreen tablets, but it's also the most desirable in the eyes of consumers.

The iPhone had a few chinks in its armor early on: It was only available on one network in the U.S., leaving room for competitors to thrive on other networks. This Achilles Heel isn't such a problem for the iPad: Not only is it available on both AT&T and Verizon, but many consumers simply buy the Wi-Fi version, meaning the carrier issue isn't as relevant.

Competitors were also able to best the iPhone, which initially cost at least $499, on price: Cheaper alternatives using Google Android became abundant, especially when carrier subsidies were taken into consideration. And yet rivals to the iPad cost about the same and lack the caché of the original.

If you want something like the iPad, your best choice has been ... the iPad.

Things are about to change, however. Two affordable and promising tablet contenders are going on sale next week.

On Tuesday, Amazon releases its Kindle Fire. For only $199 -- versus $499 for the iPad -- you get a full-color, 7-inch touchscreen tablet. You also get access to a millions of movies, TV shows, songs, books and magazines. Not to mention that Amazon has its own version of Android's app store, and the Kindle Fire comes with a new Web browser that claims to be faster than the competition.

Then on Wednesday comes Barnes & Noble's Nook Tablet, which has similar specs as the Kindle Fire but more memory and storage. It's priced at $249 -- half the cost of an iPad.

Of the two, the early favorite to emerge as the iPad's top rival is the Kindle Fire. More than any other competitor, Amazon is able to spar with Apple by controlling all the pieces of the puzzle -- from the device itself to the content that you'll consume on it.

This "end to end" solution mimics Apple's strategy -- it should mean that the user experience is radically better than other iPad alternatives. And while Amazon stops short of running its own operating system -- the tablet runs a modified version of Google's Android -- they've also made changes to the interface that make it feel more holistic.

The fact that Amazon is a major distributor of books, movies, TV shows and music has another huge advantage: The company can afford to take a slight loss on the price of the device (and reportedly does), and make up for it by selling content.

Amazon.com has been pushing the Kindle Fire to its millions of customers, even going so far as to offer free streaming movies and TV shows to all its Amazon Prime customers (as it already does on the Web).

Mark my words: The Amazon Kindle Fire will be the most successful tablet device since the iPad. Five hundred dollars is a steep price to pay for many tablet-craving consumers, but paying $200 for a similar device is comparatively painless.

In fact, a research firm surveyed 2,600 consumers to gauge interest in the new tablet and found that pre-launch demand for the Kindle Fire is higher than demand for the iPad before its launch.

Don't get me wrong: I don't think the Kindle Fire is better than the iPad. I do think, however, that the mass market is far more price sensitive than the early-adopter crowd. At the very least, the Kindle Fire is set to become the world's second-most popular tablet.

At that price, I wouldn't even bet against the Fire dethroning the iPad as the market leader.

Yes, Google, Siri is a serious threat

The question isn't whether Siri is a search engine that can replace Google's search box. It's a different kind of search -- one that could be the future.
By Kevin Kelleher, contributor

It sounded pretty good until Eric Schmidt said it: Siri, the so-called personal assistant app on Apple's iPhone 4S, is the new face of search. Siri is threatening to sideline the tried-and-true search box that Google turned into a cross between a wishing well and the most trusted way to navigate a rapidly sprawling web. Some said that Google should be concerned. Others, predictably, overreacted and labeled Siri a "Google killer."
Then last week Google's (GOOG) former CEO and current chair released his responses to Senate subcommittees looking into Google's dominance in the search industry. In the past few years, Schmidt has transitioned from a seasoned and successful CEO to something of a loose cannon who spends most of his time retracting, or explaining or laughing away his previous statements. So when Schmidt, citing some of those commentators who saw Apple's (AAPL) Siri as a Google competitor, suggested that Siri could be a force in search, he drew a skeptical response. Some said Schmidt was just downplaying Google's prominence in search. Others pointed out that Siri's own default search engine is Google.
But how can Google be a monopoly that is about to get its clock cleaned by Apple? The truth is less certain, if equally dramatic: The search industry is in the early stages of a disruptive period of change. It will look more like Siri than Google does today -- that is, it will have a more intuitive AI feel to it. Apple and Google -- and maybe even Microsoft (MSFT) -- will play a key role in shaping it. Which means it's well past time to be worrying about whether Google is a monopoly.
In fact, Google isn't a even search monopoly anymore. It controls around two thirds of the search market. That statistic was more significant several years ago, before the rise of specialized searches through sites like Yelp for restaurants, Kayak for travel and Twitter for real-time chatter. Google is also said to have 97% of mobile search. But again, that overlooks the fact that most people access the mobile web through apps, not browsers.
In a way, search has always been about connecting us with the information we need on the web. Before search, there were directories like Yahoo (YHOO) and Excite. Then AltaVista and Inktomi built search engines based on the simple search box, and Google cleaned up, first by building a better search box and then by continually improving it. Google's impact on search wasn't a sudden revolution but a gradual progression that -- only in retrospect -- seems profound.
Now Apple has found a way to advance search in an equally dramatic way: Siri. There's no search box to type into. You just ask. The idea of voice-activated search has been around for some time. Nuance Communications (NUAN), whose technology reportedly powers Siri, has long sold its Dragon voice-recognition software that can surf the web by voice. And Google's mobile search app can type spoken queries into its search box.
But Siri is more than voice recognition. It's a form of AI that takes a few more steps closer to an app that could pass the Turing test. People are still uncomfortable with any AI application that could be mistaken for a human, but the Easter-egg answers Apple has snuck into the app defuses any potential discomfort, and in fact gives Siri a conversational interface that feels far more personal that Google's spartan home page.
It's that conversational interface that poses the threat to Google. No longer is the search box the front-end of searches on the iPhone 4S. Google is the back-end technology that is suddenly less visible. Or rather, one of the back ends. Because of the rise of specialized searches like Yelp and Wolfram|Alpha, Siri can easily bypass Google's search algorithms for many queries.
Google has another reason to be worried about Siri: It's the closest thing we have to a mass-market phone app. For years, Google cast itself as a tech company at the forefront of artificial intelligence. Back in 2004, Google's Sergey Brin talked about a future where AI would let you say into a phone "what you want to search for, and it will be pulled up." Google reached that goal before Apple did, but now Apple has raised the bar much higher.
Google saw search as an entry point into artificial intelligence. Apple saw it the other way around -- Siri's AI was its way of helping people navigate the web. The question isn't whether Siri is a search engine that can replace Google's search box. It's a different kind of search -- that is, it's the future of search.
Google will no doubt come back with its own AI innovations to search. That's why Siri won't be a Google killer. It will instead be a Google competitor in Google's core market. Both companies will shape how we find information on our phones, which means the search industry is about to see some interesting changes in the coming years.

iPad 3 More Small and Strong

CALIFORNIA - Rumors about the iPad 3 re-emerged. This time the latest generation of iPad is claimed to be using a screen measuring 9.7 inches which is equipped with a display Retina.

iPad 3 which is the latest generation of Apple's tablet indeed reap many rumors before they appear, starting from a lower price, smaller size and timing of its release.

Rumors preceded by DigiTimes report that stated the iPad 3 will enter mass production and soon launched in the near future, precisely in March 2012.

It seems Apple's latest tablet, will only upgrade some features like a battery that is lighter, but with the use of a longer durability. Similarly, as reported by T3, Sunday (06/11/2011).

Although iPad 2 is still dominating the global tablet market, but Apple is thinking to make better products.

iPad 3 will be the CPU uses the A6 and by 9.7-inch screen is equipped premises to support the retina display a much better picture.

From some of the rumors mentioned above, most likely the size of the iPad 3 will be smaller and thinner than the iPad 2 which uses a 10.1-inch screen. In addition, battery life iPad 3 also seems to be much longer.

Will this can affect the selling price of the cheaper iPad 3? Presumably iPad lovers must remain patient until an official announcement about the specifications of Apple appear and answer all these questions.

2014, Sales of Defeat iPad Tablet Android

CALIFORNIA - J. Gold Associates does not agree with the assumption that the iPad tablet will continue to dominate sales. In 2014 sales of Android tablet is claimed to be better than the iPad.

So far the onslaught of Android tablet tablet continues to enter the global market by offering more competitive price than the iPad. Actual sale, tablet, Android certainly higher than the Apple tablet.

Predicted the next few years there will be one or two tablets Android will rival the dominance of the iPad.

According to Jack Gold of J Gold Associates, Android tablets may exceed the iPad in terms of sales, at least within three years.

Softpedia quoted as saying on Monday (7/11/2011), the tablet version of Android will eventually dominate the market by 50 percent, while the 10 percent will be controlled by the tablet version of Windows. This means that the iPad will only dominate the market by 40 percent.

"In 2014-2015, we hope Android tablet will acquire a majority share of the consumer market, with a number of vendors and a variety of models that can beat the iPad," said Gold.

"But the iPad will still hold the largest market share for the enterprise, where the iPad presents a special feature for them, while Android takes a longer time to develop it," he continued.

This is still an estimate and the truth still has many possibilities, it could be true or may be wrong. In the end, time will be a determinant of whether the truth about the tablet that will dominate the market globalization

New iPad Will Appear with HD display

CALIFORNIA - Today Apple is working on merging the display of high definition (HD) with the newest generation iPad.

This rumor spread after a source close to the LED backlight 2 vendors in Taiwan revealed that there is a chance Apple should change the way the use of the backlight in its products.

Both vendors have been offering Apple's two alternative solutions associated backlight for its new generation iPad requiring different devices that can display a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixel consistently.

current iPad 2 using a single type of LED light bar, but the next tablet will run into 'care' in order to maintain and strengthen the brightness of the panel.

This means that Apple could have decided to keep its single light bar and add two chips directly support or take advantage of dual-LED light bars. Similarly, as proclaimed The Next Web, Tuesday (11/08/2011).

The ability of this new screen sharpness is expected capable of displaying 264 pixels per inch (PPI) or higher, at least twice more than 132 high-PPI use iPad 2.

Motorola Bans Apple Products for sale in Germany

CALIFORNIA - After the victory of his patent in several countries, it seems now Apple had to fight hard against his rival, Motorola Mobility. German court issued an initial order, which is likely to impact on their business.

Reported by Apple Insider, Monday (7/11/2011), Florian Muller of FOSS Patent attorney contacted a number of default judgments against Germany on the German court ruling. The decision came early because of Apple's past deadline to answer the complaint watu Motorola patents.

Apparently, the news of the decision would threaten Apple's business in Germany, as the largest market in Europe. Apple is rumored to owe to compensation of two Motorola patents since 19 April 2003.

"This will not affect our ability to sell products or do business in Germany," Apple said in a statement on Friday.

But Muller rate, currently Apple does not have a clear qualification. According to him, the order could affect the company's sales anytime in the future. The impact of the order could come within weeks, if Apple is unable to persuade the court to postpone the decision.

Whatever the reason for Apple's past the deadline specified, it looks like it is Apple's strategy to make defense against Motorola.

Apple from the beginning to complain, that Motorola uses Fair and Reasonable NonDiscriminatory to burden the patent as a weapon. The company argues, Motorola is anti-competitive with standard mencapur unfairly with the implementation of patents on the patent complaint against Apple.

"By making the wrong commitment, and lead to the formation of a worldwide standard by combining patent and eliminate competition alternative technologies," wrote Apple in a federal lawsuit.

According to Apple, "Motorola has been a goalkeeper, by acquiring the power to harm or eliminate competition in the relevant market
