Concept Sketches Future Mobile Device

Concept Sketches Future Mobile Device URSLA is a future pendant that emits 3D projections in the air. BERTHA is a future mobile phone that works with URSLA. 3D projections from the pendant can be ‘captured’ in the air with this phone to see what the notification is about in detail on the screen. The device shows notifications regarding emails, phone calls, schedule and much more, that will appear in the air for a few seconds. As far as BERTHA goes, the futuristic handset works with the 3D pendant and looks like a pretty hot transparent device. This looks like an iPhone from the future, to be honest and a very cool one for that matter, that looks like it’s made from some crystal or sort of glass.

BlackBerry QNX-based handsets will receive Android app support!

Back in March 2011, RIM announced that the PlayBook would run Android apps. We wondered if this would hold for BlackBerry handsets. RIM made it official that upcoming QNX devices will support Android apps. This is a smart move as RIM’s market share is on life support, but what they really need to do is ban QNX and move completely to Android. At least this is a start. I suspect that by the second half of 2012 they will fully adopt Android or they will be acquired by Microsoft.

You can expect to see the first QNX-based handsets in early 2012. By that time, it will probably already be too late for RIM. What do you guys think? Are you more willing to buy a a new BlackBerry phone that supports Android apps next year.

The Samsung Cave concept

This device is designed for people who love texting and it incorporates the keyboard in a pretty original way. It's call "The Samsung Cave concept"

The keypad is inclined at a 30 degree angle, while the entire curved shape of the handset surely helps with the typing experience and with the grip of the unit. You can leave those boring slideout designs for a while and focus on texting on this baby. The downside to this design is how bulky the handset is…

Unless there’s a way to retract that keyboard, like some sort of accordion mechanism, I’ll consider this smartphone to be huge, especially if the screen is bigger than 3.3 inches. Multitasking and Android are also probably supported. It’s interesting that this is a “with Google” phone, so it may be considered a Nexus concept.

So, either design a mini cell phone sized 22mm X 44mm X 6mm or a tablet with a maximum size of 1.5m X 2m. The tablet is capable of responding to wireless communications like Wi-Fi. Mobikom’s key elements have programmed buttons while others have been devoid of them. Each element has its own power supply and computing processor. A user can feed individual parts with a SIM card and store all necessary details in the phone

There are apertures on the lateral surfaces in the middle of the fixing tapes, which can be used to craft new forms. Wow! A special adapter is required, which will fuel the touch screen with necessary kinetic and thermal energy for successful operation. The productivity and working of Mobikom increases when more elements are connected to the device. So, enjoy the benefits of a mini cell phone and a full sized tablet with Mobikom.

How the WEB is changing toward in business and what does it affect us in terms of our thinking in 2030?

World Wide Web
Let’s know this, Google is the only in game town here; except six billion pages of maundering they have index and search engine if choice in China is Baidu. And same of social network or the twitter equivalent in China that put on 40 million users in two months.

There is a lot space for innovative people to enter the market and actually again what we have with the WEB is the potential to get anywhere, anytime at the price this merging.

A clearly, technology as always changed ever since we have developed the first, first tool. You could argue that the brain has being been shaped and in our behaviours been shaped by the tools and assets technology that is available today.

I recon, this is not particularly new our mathematical notation did the same thing as they came along literately did the same thing.
I think off-loading certain source of ownerless memory and search task is exactly what we will do.
But the question is, do we still have the skills and ability to review, to critic, to generate new stuff? And that is the bit of Human being that will stay prime time.

Blackberry bounce back?

Today in London, RIM (Research in Motion) has announced 5 new Smartphones that will be available in markets later this month. These new Smartphones include BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930, Torch 9850/9860and Torch 9810. All of these handsets will run on manufacturer’s own BlackBerry 7 operating system and will be released in arrangement with carriers and distribution partners around the globe.

Next Google Nexus phone: 720p display, 4G LTE, Android 4.0

Android Ice Cream Sandwich
Google's third Nexus phone is expected to be running Android Ice Cream Sandwich, and is rumored to ship around Thanksgiving, possibly on AT&T. Google's next Nexus device will be possibly called the Nexus 4G, though we think that will be confusing, given that there's already a Nexus S 4G. Either way, details on the device have leaked, courtesy of BGR.

The Google Nexus 4G will feature a next-generation dual-core 1.2GHz or 1.5GHz CPU: either an Nvidia Kal-El processor, an OMAP 4460, or an ultra low-power 28nm Krait-based Snapdragon. The display is will reportedly be a 720p HD "monster-sized" screen, and there won't be physical Android menu buttons below it — everything will be software-based. Other rumored specification include a 4G LTE radio, 1GB of RAM, 1080p HD video capture and playback, a 1-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 5-megapixel rear camera "delivering class-leading image quality in addition to superior low-light performance."

Since Android 3.x is reserved for tablets, it makes sense for the next Nexus phone to be the next version of Android (codenamed Ice Cream Sandwich), which is slated for Q4 2011. While we don't know what version number it will have, rumors have previously suggested Android 4.0. The big change with Ice Cream Sandwich will be that it works on all devices. That means Google will be porting features from Android 3.0 (codenamed Honeycomb) to the smartphone, including the holographic user interface, more multitasking, the new launcher, and richer widgets

Google's Nexus One, manufactured by HTC, was released running Android 2.1 (codenamed Éclair) on January 5, 2010 and set the standard for Android devices in 2010. Google's Nexus S, manufactured by Samsung, was released running Android 2.3 (codenamed Gingerbread) on December 16, 2010 and is attempting to do the same for the platform in 2011.

Skype Finally Brings Video Chat to Most Android Phones

Good News
This will be good new for Android users because Skype launched an updated version of the video chatting software for Android smartphones, which now includes support for tablets and the most popular phones running the OS. Samsung Galaxy phones, HTC, and Sony Ericsson devices can now do Skype video chat, as well as the Galaxy Tab and Flyer 7-inch tablets.

When Skype brought video chatting on Android it drew criticism that only a handful of phones were initially supported, leaving out popular Android phones from Samsung and HTC. This issue seems to be resolved with version 2.1 of Skype for Android, which added support for 17 popular devices. The app is now available to download from the Android Market and works over both Wi-Fi and 3G connections.
[Android Phones on the Skype List]
Some caveats still exist on Skype for Android. If your phone has not received the Android 2.3 Gingerbread software update, you won’t be able to use the front-facing camera on your phone--that’s because Android 2.2 (Froyo) only allows the back camera to work, Skype said.

If you really want to use Skype for Android, but your phone is not on the supported devices list, you should still be able to enable video calling in the Skype settings (just go to "Skype settings" after launching the app and select "enable video calling"), but only if you are using Android 2.2 or newer. Skype warns that in this case, video call quality may not be as good as on a certified device.

9 Apps to Transform Your Android Phone Into a High-End Camera

Android
Thanks to technology, they have scoured multiple Android app stores to find the ultimate photography apps for shooting, editing, and sharing pictures. Here are the nine apps we tested that every photographer should have.

Creepy Apps for Android

Android-Apps

Ranging from apps that seem designed with stalkers in mind, to apps that facilitate what looks a lot like prostitution, we found plenty of programs that vie for the “creepy” crow.
Find out more by clicking "Read more".

SnapScouts

SnapScouts is the perfect tool for budding fascists everywhere. The app lets you take pictures of anything that “looks suspicious” in your neighborhood, tag the photo, and then send it to SnapScout’s “super secret servers” where “trained security professionals” can vet them and decide on appropriate measures to take in response. The more “suspicious” the people in your photos are, the more prizes you win!
Alright, alright. It’s just a hoax. But we had you going there for a second

Okay--I downloaded this app to my PC, and without warning it installed a new toolbar on my browser. Aaaaaaaggh! Anyway, here’s how this gem of an app works: You upload pictures of yourself and your partner, and then MakeMeBabies uses “face recognition” technology to mash the two faces together into one child’s face.
But something goes wrong. The faces that the app creates don’t always look exactly human. The amalgamated face has all of the expected components in a predictable array, but something crucial is missing in the eyes--in place of a natural human gaze, there's just a cold, appraising stare. Bodysnatchers!
Similar to the popular Date Check app, which allows you to run a quick background check on a potential hook-up, Background Check from BeenVerified.com does, well, pretty much the same thing.
You get two choices: a background check or an email search. To trigger a background check, you enter the first and last name of the person of interest, and the app spits out any relevant data it has on the person's criminal record, property, relatives' and neighbors' names, and “also known as” aliases. To request an email search, you enter a person’s email address or select an address from your own address book, and the app seeks out any blogs, videos, photos, or social networking pages associated with that email address.
Background Check is advertised as "free" but really you get just one "comprehensive" check per month, and after that you have to pay $1.99 for a basic search.
This app is more dumb than creepy, but still... Baby Manager is the app of choice for mothers who are so obsessive that they want to report everything the kid drinks, eats, or poops every hour of every day. Then, after a given amount of time, Neurotic Mother can run analytics on all the data she’s collected, make potentially spurious determinations about the health of the baby, and pester the pediatrician with the details yet another Google-based diagnosis of an imaginary problem. And of course all the eating, sleeping, peeing, and pooping data can be shared with other neurotic mothers over Twitter and Facebook.

HTC Desire (Android) has been updated 2.3 Gingerbread

htc desire
HTC thought they could get away with giving a lose reason for not updating HTC Desire the flagship phone of last year and still the favourite of many Android users. Yesterday they announced that HTC Desire cannot be updated.

Reason we asked? They said not enough memory to put both Gingerbread and HTC Sense on the device and maintain the quality that we have become so used to over the lifetime of Android.

For you, HTC Desire user, actually this update OS information would be vital. When exactly HTC vendor would release update Android 2.3 Gingerbread for HTC Desire?
The answer, we have to wait for official information from HTC. So, let see further development. For more information on this product please manufacture’s website on http://www.htc.com/uk/howto.aspx?id=636&type=1&p_id=312.
