iPhone 5 Latest Leaks

         The longingly awaited iPhone 5 has been believed to be released in the end of 2012. Hopefully, iPhone will have good hardware specification to match the quad core phones in the market like HTC ONE X and many other phones. Needless to say, iPhone has been delivering quite decent hardware in its earlier versions. As in earlier versions, it will be using a micro SIM card.

       

         

  Hopefully iPhone 5 will have better user interface(UI) with customizable home screens. I always had a feeling that iPhones lacked homescreens. Scrolling through the main menu has always remained the same since years.So, here are some of the specifications that you can expect in the upcoming iPhone 5.

SCREEN

Apple had never thought of increasing screen size of iPhone more than 3.5 inch. But due to popularity of other android handsets which have screen about 4.0 inch, we can expect the new version of iPhone to have at least 4 inch screen. We can hope it to have a amoled screen and undoubtedly, the screen will be protected by corning gorilla glass. I don't think that apple will increase the pixel density(PPI) of iPhone 5 because pixel density of 326 is more than enough to be distinguished.  

Further we can hope of 720p HD screen. It is recommended for playing HD games and watching HD films. It will also have a captice touchscreen and support multitouch(It will be  able to read five finger at a time). Multitouch function is used for giving gestures. For eg : Pinch to zoom.  The screen will be featured by 16m color. The screen will further be protected by corning Gorilla Glass. So users don't need to worry about scratching  their screen at all. That's all we can expect out of iPhone 5.

Operating System(OS)

iPhone 5 is expected to run on iOS 6.x.x which will be launched simultaneously with the release of iPhone 5. Also, the OS will be enhanced with more than 500 new features which will be widely usable. Some of the major feature included will be face unlock, gesture unlock, more advanced Siri and many others.

This is something that will interest you all! The iPhone 5 will be completely customizable by the users. That's a great function which we never got out of apple products unless you jailbreak it.

  

Further, the OS will have homescreen, in fact 7 customizable homescreens. This will of course make iPhone one of the best smartphone yet. But due to these features we can also make out that the OS will somewhat be slower than previous versions of iPhone. Even so we wont have to worry because we can expect a powerful processor for iPhone 5. 

iOS 6 is undoubtedly what we are hoping for iPhone 5 according to the trend we have seen so far. Really apple needs to upgrade its OS in order to increase its market. iOS has always seemed easy to use and is highly simplified but it would be even better if they would have given users to modify iPhone according to their own will.

CAMERA 

iPhone 4s surely had incredible 8MP camera that thrilled us all. The colour saturation and colour were perfect. When Nokia revealed Pureview 808 with a 41MP sensor, it was a great surprise for everyone. Nobody had ever expected that out of a mobile phone. We surely aren't expecting a 41MP sensor but iPhone 5 will be most probably be loaded by 12 MP camera. For me, it would be great and I wouldn't be expecting anything more either.

iPhone 5's 12 mega pixels camera will also support HD(1080p) video recording just like iPhone 4s but a bit better with better functionality. Also like HTC One X we can also expect it to have double shutter feature, i.e. ability to record video and take a snapshot at a same time. iPhone 5's camera lens will also have larger aperture. Instead of a single led flash, iPhone 5 will have dual led light. That's all we need, isn't it?

Talking about the secondary camera(Front facing camera), it will have 2 megapixels which is exactly what we need. Further, it will be able to record 720p HD videos. Unfortunately we won't have led flash for front facing camera.That's all we will have in iPhone 5's camera. Small yet very powerful. 

PROCESSOR

iOS is not processor hungry operating system. It will run well enough in even a single core 1GHz processor but gaming and other heavy applications sure need much power. We have seen the potential of iPhone 4's GPU and CPU in the game called "Infinity Blade". It's graphics was surely thrilling. 

The iPhone 5 will have a quad core processor as its heart and its going be really power efficient. The new apple A6 chip will most probably run on 1.2GHz. If we really get this specification, this small beast will be as powerful as a well maintained efficient  desktop. 

With the multicore processor, the GPU will also be well enhanced.
Playing heavy games such as in PS Vita will be clean and easy for the iPhone 5. The new processor will also not eat up much of your battery.

BATTERY

Don't expect much out of iPhone 5 in the field of battery. It always had decent battery life and even in iPhone 5, you'll be getting the same battery life. We can expect a 1750mAh battery as there is increase in size of the screen which will of course affect your battery life. However, iPhone 5 will have battery life enough to last whole day long.

About the "FUEL CELL" thing, if it's really coming out, we will all be more than glad as it delivers best battery life but as far as I know it will all stay as a rumor but we can always keep our fingers crossed.

CONCLUSION

Now all we can do is wait for the iPhone 5 and hope that all the rumors come true and we get the best that we had never expected. Let Apple do its magic and revolutionize the smart phone world.
Hopefully we will get all the goodies in the iPhone 5.
