iPad Sales Causing Major Hit on Laptop Sales
Apple’s iPad is not only crushing the netbook and tablet category, but is also making potential laptop buyers think twice about buying their next product. In a conversation with the Wall Street Journal, Best Buy CEO, Brian Dunn, said that the iPad “had cannibalized sales from laptop PCs by as much as 50%.” That’s a ridiculously high number, and it seems even more insane when you realize that Best Buy doesn’t even have iPads in every location.
